Which branch(es) are you joining us in? (Aion, Champs, DDO, GA, STO): STO

Are you over 18? (you must be 18+ to apply) Yes

Are you a member of any other guild in that game? No

What is the name/class/current level of the character(s) you intend to join with? Jon Dorian, Tactical RA5

Do you have friends or family in the guild? If so what is their forum name? No

Did you read our charter and rules? Which rules translation was your favorite? The Scottish Translation. Everything sounds better with a Scottish accent.

Do you have an issue using Ventrilo? (Being able to at least listen is helpful for active participation in PvP/raids) Never used it, but I'm not opposed to it. At least not once I dig out my headset mic.

Answer the following 4 questions. PROTIP: if your answer is shorter than the question, we will make fun of you for being boring.
1. What's the dumbest, funniest or most embarrassing thing you have ever done: There are too many answers to this question. I tend to do a lot of dumb things. It's hard to pick the dumbest. The funniest (and possibly dumbest) thing, to me anyway, is when I was in Basic Training and my Drill Sergeant told me a piece of mail I had smelled like gay porn. Me, being sarcastic in nature, replied back with "How do you know what gay porn smells like, Drill Sergeant?" Fortunately he was a good sport and didn't murder me.
2. What is your Zombie Plan? Aim for the head until I either run out of ammo or ambushed from behind by a ninja zombie. At that point, I'm coming for you.
3. Tell us the story of why you will no longer drink <name of drink>: Well, I don't drink alcohol (I can't stand the taste), but I have had the Italian version of Coca-Cola, and it tastes like cough syrup. So I refuse to drink that ever again.
4. Tell us something cool about yourself that has nothing to do with gaming: I like big butts and I cannot lie. Also, I'm addicted to Ricola mixed berry cough drops.

Quick survey! We will totally judge you by the answers you make below:
• Favorite Type of Music: A little bit of everything. I'm a Music Major, so I like it all.
• Favorite Movie: Right now, it would have to be The Blind Side
• Favorite Book: Alan Alda's biography "Never Have Your Dog Stuffed"
• Favorite Drink: Coca-Cola.
• Favorite Non MMO Game: Bioshock

Sounds like something I'd say. So what were the consequences of this? Or were there none? In which case, we need a new story!

Pfft. Can't even give us a decent plan. Like we've never heard the "I'll die and become a zombie" answer before.

Decent enough game, though it pales in comparison to SS2.

There were none, as I was injured at the time and he really couldn't make me do anything. Sadly I don't really have any really good stories. None that I can think of at the time, any way. He did tell me he'd let me know after mail call how he knew what gay porn smelled like, but I just replied "Don't ask, don't tell," and he shook his head trying to hold back a laugh.

Well, it would probably help to know that I'm secretly breeding a Zombie virus to in my basement that turns people into Zombies to do my bidding. But don't tell anyone.

I've not played that. I'll have to check it out.

So you were in the Army or the Marines? You must have many crazy stories from your days there--alcohol getting consumed, wildlife getting shot at, explosives being planted in a nunnery, those sorts of hi-jinks. Any other memorable tall tales? :)

I was in the Army. However comma pause for dramatic effect, I blew out my knee during BCT and ended up getting medically discharged. I was only in for about 11 months and never got out of the Basic Training Environment. Yes, that's right, I was under the command of Drill Sgts. for 11 months. Most people are only under them for four.

And yes, my eye twitches for that reason.

There was my buddy Ward who, in a fit of boredom, created a bra out of grapefruit rinds and 550 cord. I have pictures. If I can find them I'll post them.

Then there was Laurnoff who was obsessed with showing everyone his testicles. He wasn't right.

Most of my army "career" was spent in a rehabilitation platoon for injured soldiers, where we rehabilitated by doing details that made our injuries worse. I'd probably still be in had it not been for that platoon. It just warms the cockles of my heart to think of all the things I could be doing right now had I not blown out my knee.

Now, if you want, I can make up some crazy story that vaguely resembles involving becoming the US Army Ping-Pong champion after getting shot in the ass.

But I think Winston Groom might come after me.

Ha! Exactly. When you go in for a fractured tibia and they tell you "Well, I'll give you some tylenol and make sure to drink more water" you know you've got the finest care anywhere.

Don't we have a member that was permanently disabled by Uncle Sam's gentle touch? I swear I remember having that conversation...
